Last weekend I had the opportunity to go to Minneapolis to play in a Mid-War singles Tournament held at Tower Games [
4807 Nicollet Avenue, Minneapolis, MN 55419]. Great store with excellent stockage, gaming tables and atmosphere. Keith Gilmour was the TO and ran a very tight event. I played my first real games of FOW singles. Somehow I managed [more than likely the result of couching from my very patient opponents...] Two wins and won "Best Axis"
I ran Heer Panzer Grenadiers with Artillery, Marder IIIs and 2 Brummbars for support.
I was able to get a game in with John Stentz [British 8th Army]. I have known John for years through WHFB events, it was a lot of in to get a game with him. I met and played against James [British Motor Company] and Rick [Finnish]. Great games and opponents all, look forward to meeting them again on the field of battle.

The Brummbars and Pranzer Grenadiers manage to contest the Objective for a win vs the 8th Army...

I guess the bridge has a pretty high tonnage rating...

Whole lot of Finnish death headed my way... Game over man, Game over...

Congratulations on your wins. Great looking figures, vehicles and terrain. Will you be getting into Bolt Action? Pat is hosting a BA tournament at Enfilade! in May. Looking forward to participation, although I've yet to play my first game with the rules! :) Best wishes, Dean
