Meet The Bear

I'm a central Wisconsinite born and bred. My geek cred includes being the third wheel on the Point Hammered podcast, travelling across the midwest losing games at warhammer tournaments for over half a decade and being the head organizer for the WAAAGH! Paca indy GT, the largest WFB tournament in Wisconsin.

Just chillin'

I collect ogres, for some reason an army made up of large, bald (but otherwise hairy) men strikes a chord with me.  I also enjoy the brutal tribal look and the large models/small model count lend themselves well to my fondness for converting and lack of patience with painting.



I'm a steel roofer by trade, 3rd generation in the family business. Some of my other interests include fine art (I have a BFA in it), roller derby (playing men's derby and reffing for women's derby), creating realistic warhammer artifacts, shooting antique guns (or replicas of said guns) and backyard siege engineering.

I went to high school and college in the nineties so my musical interests go towards grunge, industrial and hip hop, though my tastes have gotten more eclectic with time and listen to more alt country, folk and regional hip hop these days.

 All in all, I'm pretty much the weakest link of the Handsome Point Boys, mostly getting by on my good looks and willingness to drive to the various tournaments we attend.  At this point in my life organizing and running WAAAGH! Paca is the most satisfying part of the hobby for me, so that's what I tend to put my energy in.  Now that we have a new Ogre book you probably won't be seeing any new armies from me anytime soon, I'll just add a model here and there to the ogres.
