I've been on a real hobby tear lately. I have 4 models left in all of my Aleph stuff now that this one is done!
She's in my standard pastel-y Aleph color scheme. This is getting to be quite the force!
This was a fun model to paint. Most of the detail (other than the face) that sucked up so much work was the space between the knees and hips. There's so much going on there with all the gear hanging about her waist.
That's a super close detail of the face.

Point Hammered Patreon Model #2: JSA Kuge Delegate
I'm not going to say it didn't take forever to get it done, but here it is. Note that Ryan did not want it based. He wants to base it himself to match the rest of his forces.
I tried not to stick too rigidly to the stock paint scheme, though I did tie into it.

Point Hammered Patreon Model #1: Tech-Priest Dominius
Despite the best efforts of work, house work, horrible tenants, and general bad luck; I've finally finished the first Point Hammered Patreon model.
This is our quarterly model painting competition, open to Patrons. Details can be found here:

The Chironis Forge- an Adeptus Mechanicus Blog Part 3
As I mentioned in the initial posts- this blog isn't necessarily in chronological order..!
The most recent edition to my army is one of the new Knight Armiger Warglaives.

Infinity Aleph Deva Bot #2
In a quick break from painting my AoS Tzeentch, I got this guy wrapped up today.
I intentionally didn't look at the first one I painted when I was doing this one. I have this color scheme down, so I didn't need that; it was a test to see how different it would turn out. The answer: not much!

Rift Stalkers - Primaris Marines
Hello all - for those of you who follow me on Twitter you may already have seen a few pictures of these guys, but they made their debut at Waaaghpaca's Friendly Tournament with the rest of my painted Raven Guard.
When the new Primaris marines came out from GW I really liked them and dove in with the starter box. However, it took me nearly 6 months to finally completely paint my first unit. The easy thing was picking my chapter for my Primaris as the Rift Stalkers (GW created) fit perfectly in with my Raven Guard "normal" marines. The color scheme was basically opposite and allowed me an opportunity to challenge myself and paint something different, white, which I hadn't done in such large portions before.

The Chironis Forge- an Adeptus Mechanicus blog (Part 2)
The Skitarii make up the backbone of the Adeptus Mechanicus' fighting forces. These warriors take many forms and are modified and enhanced in almost every concievable way- gene-bulked, stim-injected, bionically-enhanced and completely brainwashed.

The Chironis Forge- an Adeptus Mechanicus blog (Part 1)
Hello all!
It's been a very long time since I last posted here on the blog, so I thought it time to rectify that situation.
I certainly haven't been idle in terms of hobby in that time. My most significant hobby progress has been building and painting a huge Adeptus Mechanicus army.
